Recipe: Simple Scones

When I was a little girl, I absolutely adored cooking. I haven't been able to find time over the past few years to cook and bake as much as I used to in middle and elementary school, but I have made a goal for myself to cook something new each week. This weeks focus is cranberry orange scones, a delicious treat for breakfast or brunch and this recipe from Barefoot Contessa is amazing. I actually had the pleasure of meeting and getting Ina's autograph last year and she is so sweet. The scones turned out so yummy and with a little strawberry jam on top it was the perfect breakfast sweet.

Review: Neutrogena Dry-Touch Sunscreen

Neutrogena makes amazing products; skincare, suncare, cosmetics- you name it they have got it. I wear their Dry-Touch sunscreen every day in the spring and summer. It is by far my favorite sunscreen! It goes for about $9.99 but goes on sale pretty often. It doesn't feel oily or have a strong sunscreen smell which are two important factors when deciding on a facial sunscreen for me. It feels light on your skin and you can't tell a difference if you put it on before using foundation or powder.

Overall I give this product an A

Style Icons: Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

To start off my icons series I decided to start off with Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. Not only do we share a name, but a love for classic shapes, and timeless fashion. Jackie embodied class, style, and grace throughout her years in the public eye.

Jackie's First Lady Wardrobe 1961-1963

• Oleg Cassini dressed her in a majority of her iconic looks during her role as First Lady


• Although she loved Cassini, she wore ensembles from other designers including Givenchy, Dior, and Chanel


• Some of her favorite pieces included: a-line dresses, above-the-elbow gloves, pillbox hats, kitten heels.


• Her signature piece's of jewelry included: Kenneth Jay Lane triple-stand pearl necklace, Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. "berry brooch", Schlumberger "banana" earrings, Schlumberger gold and enamel bracelets [widely called "Jackie bracelets"], Van Cleef & Arpels wedding band
