Glam It Yourself: Sugar Lip Scrub

I love doing this to exfoliate the dead skin off my lips. Especially now, since it is getting colder and colder my skin is kind of turning dryer and dryer.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. olive oil
Small dish/bowl to mix
Spoon

Put the sugar and oil together in a small bowl.

Stir together.

Add more of whatever ingredient you need. The consistency should have more sugar then oil.

Gently rub onto your lips, then wash it off, and moisturize with your favorite lip balm!

Review: Rimmel Fix and Perfect Foundation Primer

Priming is a necessity for your face and eyes in order to make your makeup stick onto your face through the day. I am obsessed with Urban Decay Primer Potion, and that is strictly for the eyes. When I bought my first primer, I didn't do much research into what I wanted to use. I purchased Bare Essectuals Prime time foundation primer from Ulta for $21. I did some research as I ran out of the primer, and came across some reviews of Rimmel Fix and Perfect. I picked it up at Ulta on sale for about $4.99 and I have been using it every day for about 1 week. I opened the product and saw the peach color come out, I got nervous that it would make my skin look orange, and I was completely wrong! I blended very nicely into my skin leaving a smooth finish and my skin looked more hydrated. After wearing it through the day, I didn't find my self having to apply my concealer and face powder, but only my bronzer because I feel washed out sometimes through the day. The squeeze tube makes it easy to get the right amount. The thing that really makes me use it every day is the fact that I can start applying my makeup right away after applying the primer. The consistency is more like a mousse then a gel, which most primers are. With the B.E primer I would have to wait for around 10 minutes to get rid of the oily wet feeling.

What is your favorite makeup primer?
