Review: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush

One of the most popular product in the drugstore for January was the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush. While the blushes aren't extremely pigmented, they blend easily into your skin and give your skin a natural glow without looking cakey, powdery, or fake.

While the shades I have (Pink Plum & Orchid Hush) aren't extremely pigmented, they work well to give you a beautiful flush with or without another blush. I felt that Orchid Hush was the most unique (a light lavender mixed with baby pink), but it doesn't give a lot of color payoff. However, Pink Plum (a true pink with coral undertones) gave my skin a flawless glow.
Maybelline's revolutionary powder-gel formula blushes are available in 10 shades ranging from light peaches to bright reds. $7.99 and can be purchased wherever Maybelline products are sold.

Quick tip: For a more natural look (and to slim your face), do not apply the majority of your blush on the apples of your cheeks, but in between your apples and your temples with the most in the center and blended out.
